This installation was created in honor of the great Cy Twombly. The record player is playing a music composition from the '40's titled, "Don't Forget Me". Twombly is one of the most influential artists I have encountered. His process, his style and motivations all reach a higher level of intrigue for me. He is such a poetic painter with his words, marks and layers and many other influences may have - Twombly - always does it for me. The elephant is a symbol here of his strengths, intelligence, and wordly/international connections.
